My mom, sister and I spent the morning visiting my grandmother in the cardiac ICU at NY Presbyterian Hospital, and the afternoon visiting my grandfather at his nursing home / rehab facility in NJ.
I am happy to report that they were both in great spirits and up to their old antics; in fact, they were joking around so much that my props were superfluous... But hey, when else can you wear flags on your head?

ReplyDeleteYou and your sister have the same headbands, right? They only have different colors. It's really nice to have a sister to share things with. My sisters and I share a lot of things, from clothes to bags and shoes! The photo with your Grandpa made me miss mine. He must be very delighted to see the three of you.
ReplyDeleteYup - My sister and I are forever dorky together... my grandpa has a thing about hats - so we just had to get these headbands! I feel very lucky to have him still in my life...thanks for the kind words.
